
Researcher and Schools Founder
Dr Allen Zimbler was born and educated in South Africa. He was lecturer in the School of Psychology of the University of Witwatersrand, then becoming Professor at the Graduate School of Business Administration during the apartheid era, Chair of Governors of Morpeth School in Tower Hamlets; Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters of the City of London; a Knight of the Honorary Knights of the Round Table; an Honorary member of Magdalene College, University of Cambridge, and of Wolfson College, University of Oxford; and a Director of the African Leadership Institute.
Zimbler is chair of a registered Namibian not-for-profit organisation called the Ju/‘hoansi Development Fund that raises money to build five village schools for the Bushman community in the Nyae Nyae Conservancy of Northern Namibia and is also providing mother-tongue teacher training and food supplementation for the children attending these schools.
