Nikesh Shukla is an author, screenwriter and social commentator. His debut novel, Coconut Unlimited, was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award 2010. He’s the author of Meatspace, a YA thriller, Run, Riot, a work of literary fiction, The One who Wrote Destiny, and the editor of the essay collection, The Good Immigrant, and the co-editor of the US- focused edition of The Good Immigrant.
Nikesh is the co-founder of the literary journal, The Good Journal and The Good Literary Agency, a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a member of the Folio Academy. He has been awarded honorary doctorates from Roehampton University and the University of Bath. His latest book Brown Baby: A Memoir of Race, Family and Home was published in 2021.
