We Were There: at the Hay Festival

WritersMosaic returned to the Hay-on-Wye Festival recently for We Were There, a night of music, poetry and prose. Colin Grant hosted the evening with Lanre Bakare discussing his groundbreaking social history, We Were There and Pauline Black reflecting on her memoir Black by Design along with the documentary Pauline Black: A 2-Tone Story. They were joined  by poet Malika Booker, co-founder of Malika’s Kitchen, performing some of her latest poems and the stunning singer and musician, Daudi Matsiko playing from his latest album, The King of Misery.
