Eleanor Margolies is a writer based in London. She has a background in puppetry and theatre design, with interests in ecology and the role of the senses in performance. Her books include Props: Readings in Theatre Practice, a translation of Manifesto for a Modern Theatre by Patrick Dubost, and a collaborative picture book The Day The Food Ran Out. Co-edited collections include Landing Stages (2015); Culture and Climate Change: Recordings (2011); and Theatre Materials (2009).
