Technical Lead

Kona Macphee is a poet and digital technologist with a background in Computer Science and Robotics.  She grew up in Australia, emigrating to the UK in the 1990s. She now lives in Scotland, where she runs a digital media agency and can often be spotted in the wild on one of her motorbikes. Kona received an Eric Gregory Award for poetry in 1998. Her three collections from Bloodaxe Books are Tails (2004), Perfect Blue (2010), which won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize for 2010, and What Long Miles (2013), which was an Observer poetry book of the month. Kona has taught or mentored for literature organisations including the Poetry Society, the Poetry School, the Arvon Foundation, NAWE and the Scottish Poetry Library. She was an RLF Fellow at the University of Stirling in 2012-13, and since then has provided technical and editorial services for many RLF projects.
