
Poet, novelist, essayist and dramatist
Naomi Foyle is a British-Canadian poet, science fantasy novelist, essayist and dramatist. ASTRA, her stage adaptation of her eco-SF quartet The Gaia Chronicles, won the 2022 Brighton Fringe ONCA Green Curtain Award. Her debut poetry collection, The Night Pavilion, was an Autumn 2008 Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Her fourth collection, Salt & Snow (2025), is a meditation on grief, witness, whiteness and climate crisis. Naomi Foyle is Reader in Critical Imaginative Writing at the University of Chichester, Poetry and Fiction editor of Critical Muslim, and a frequent collaborator with film makers, artists and musicians.
