Biography

Niven Govinden is the author of six novels, including All The Days And Nights which was long-listed for the Folio Prize and shortlisted for the Green Carnation Prize. His third novel Black Bread White Beer won the 2013 Fiction Uncovered Prize. He was a judge for the 2017 4th Estate/Guardian B4ME Prize.

Diary of a Film was long-listed for the Gordon Burn Prize and is currently being developed for the screen. This Brutal House was long-listed for the Jhalak Prize and shortlisted for the Polari and Gordon Burn Prizes.
