
Filmmaker, writer and actor
Savannah Acquah is a British/Ghanaian filmmaker, writer and actor.
Savannah’s first short ‘Dzifa’ screened at Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying festivals around the world. Her theatre work has been performed at the Royal Exchange, HOME Manchester, Contact and the Edinburgh Fringe.
In 2025, she directed four poetry short films for WritersMosaic and the Adrian Brinkerhoff Poetry Foundation. Her play ‘Small Revolutions’ was performed as part of Talawa Firsts and she has just completed the Royal Court’s Introduction to Playwriting group. She is currently directing a film for the charity Switchback and is in post-production for her first short documentary.
