Biography

Tolula Dada is a writer and story producer. She has over a decade’s experience spanning theatre, drama development and script editing for BBC One, ITV, Sky One and HBO/Cinemax. Her first full-length play, Carrot or Stick? was nominated for the 2015 Alfred Fagon Award and her second play, Marry or Burn, was longlisted for the Verity Bargate Award 2020.

She is developing several original projects for TV, alongside writing episodes of ITV’s Grantchester, Red Rose for BBC Three, and forthcoming Paramount+ series, The Blue.
