
Journalist and author
Yvonne Singh has been a journalist for three decades. Her work has been published in the Guardian, the Observer, the White Review, BBC History, the Mirror and the London Evening Standard among others.
She teaches the BA and MA Creative Writing at Canterbury Christchurch University and lectures at London’s City Lit.
Her writing has been shortlisted for the Seán Ó Faoláin International Short Story Competition, Black Spring Press Prize, Brick Lane Bookshop Short Story Prize and she came second in the SI Leeds Prize, 2018. She was a judge for the 2020 competition and continues to mentor for the prize.
She was a London Library Emerging Writer 2022-23, INK! is her first book and has received Arts Council and Society of Authors funding.
