Ritual

In the first series of poems commissioned by Hannah Lowe, Writers Mosaic’s poetry editor, six poets explore how ritual gives meaning to our lives – from the sacred to the everyday, inherited to invented practices, and from private gesture to communal expression. At a time when the news and political landscape can feel increasingly divisive, hostile and uncertain, poems that attend to small acts of care, tenderness and grief feel especially important.
