Coming Soon: WritersMosaic challenges history at HOME on 15 June

A WritersMosaic panel explores the literary voices shedding new light on history.
9th June 2021

How does fiction sit side-by-side with history writing? WritersMosaic director, Colin Grant, chairs this essential and timely conversation with playwright and theatre director Patricia Cumper, novelist Umi Sinha and Ingrid Persaud, winner of the 2020 Costa First Novel Award. We often distinguish between history and story, yet history has always been brought to life by storytelling, whether in the form of carved and painted images, through oral traditions, or by means of the written word.
Unearthing pasts that have been neglected, or purposefully forgotten, is to challenge the myths and foundation stories about who we are.
WritersMosaic in partnership with Home, produced by Fane.
