Coming soon: Commonworld

Lucy Hannah, who founded and led Commonwealth Writers which operates across fifty-three countries, particularly in areas with little or no creative industries, is well placed to investigate the connections between writers across the world and the universality of their stories. ‘One of the many joys of reading is that of being transported to another world, far from our own,’ says Hannah, the editor of Commonworld, the next guest edition to launch on WritersMosaic on 4 August. With several writers and the photographer, Robert Huggins, she explores ‘the messy afterlife of colonialism, and grapples with how to shape our identity in today’s Commonworld.’
